"View cone" not transparent in night mode

Giacomo Ciani shared this problem 9 years ago
Solved

- Enable "show view" (rather than "rotate map") with the orientation button

- set the map to color mode to "night"

- the overlay cone that shows the direction you are looking at is not transparent and hides whatever is behind it.

Sorry, my bad for not knowing the correct nomenclature.

Let my try again: when you set the orientation button (even here I'm not sure I'm using the correct name... second from the left in the bottom bar) to "show view" (rather than "rotate map"), a 1/4 circle appears on the map to represent your "field of view". It has the vertex in the center, the base towards the direction you are pointing and a transparency gradient from the vertex (completely opaque) to the base (completely transparent). I think with the default settings it's orange. I hope now you understand what I'm talking about...

Well, that same triangle in night mode goes from blue at the vertex to black at the base, but is not transparent at all...
