Viewing Addreesses For Saved Maps
Answered
I have a saved map on Google maps. I have imported it two ways into Locus. 1. Menu->More->My Maps - which I think is connecting to my saved Google map online. (Is that correct?) 2. By importing it to my phone which I think allows me to see the saved map offline. (Is that correct?) My last question is about seeing the saved addresses that go with the map. when I pull up the map, I can see all the saved locations and when I click on them, see their names and latitude/longitude. How can I see the saved information - like address, phone number, etc?
Hello Charles,
you`re correct in both points. If you just check your map, it need internet connection to download all required data. If you "import" it into Locus, it will be imported into Locus database so you`ll not need internet connection to view these items, but you`ll lost ability synchronize your edits with online storage. (maybe more is here http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php/manu...)
Anyway about your question, I`m not sure I fully understand. You have in your map on internet some additional information that is not visible in locus after display?

All the points are saved with addresses in Google Maps. If I look at them on Google Maps, I see the addresses. On Locus, I do not. I just see latitude and longitude. Is there a way to display the addresses?

ah understand, probably not possible
it`s same as with routes. When you draw route on web between two points, Google automatically compute track on streets, roads etc, so you do not see straight line between two points, but a real way, where to go. When you anyway display such map in locus, it will be again just simple line between two points, because computed route isn`t stored in map itself.
it will be same with addresses. Google compute address for this point when you need it, but address itself isn`t stored in map.
Because locus still do not have offline geocoding, I cannot help here, sorry
