Waypoint file with cmt and desc tags missing

Is the problem located in the displayMode tag?

I see no problem in sample you attached to previous post. What you see when you import this waypoint, tap on it and open point detail? In first tab "Basic info", should be description and also comment visible.

If I tap on it, I get the name field, right to it a single arrow ">", tapping on this arrow leads me to a selection of 'Navigieren | Zielführung ein | Kompass | Ausblenden' ; no more field.

But (dicovered right now):

A long tap open a screen with Name (in green), the position and the description.

Sorry, but I haven't found it (despite searching for some days ...). Perhaps it would be a good idea to add a 'details' field to the selection offered in the ">"-menu. (As always, the problem is located between screen and keyboard :-)

And an additional wish: a function like 'pick phone number' to make an easy phone call possible. (I see a hotel / B&B, go to the details, pick the number an dial it ...)

hmm maybe I understand. Long tap on small dialog on map is not needed, just tap on rest of area except small arrow on right. Maybe this may helps: http://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:basics:poisplace

just an additional remark: I like the function to create a own folder for waypoints, assign a display symbol to this folder and to import such a list and have the possibility to turn all such locations on/off at once. Really a value during a bike travel.

additional you could set the behaviour of the tap on POI symbol in the preferences.
