Also I need help in setting my own bookmark with https://ridewithgps.com/

Hi Marius,
we just adjusted the correct app communication of Quick bookmark URL to WhatsApp.
For exporting your tracks to RidewithGPS, please use Locus export (https://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:tracks:export#supported_online_services)
best regards

Hi Marius,
for example, you want to send a URL of location acquired in Locus to a recipient on WhatsApp (the URL leads to some third party map server):
- you use Locus, Locus displays your location on map
- you want to send the same location on Wandermap to a friend who you communicate with on WhatsApp
- tap bookmarks - tap "+" - add "Predefined" - select Wandermap - a new bookmark is set. Long tap the bookmark - edit - add WhatsApp as the target app.
- when you tap this targeted bookmark, WhatsApp is called, you select your contact and the Wandermap URL with Locus location is automatically filled in the message box

This feature is not condsidered a core one so we don't plan to add more predefined servers. Anyway, the feature supports adding custom servers so if you miss one particular, you can do so individually.

So Marius, this is for instant location sharing and then on a proper map, not being Google Maps but for example Open Street Maps.
I use this format: https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map={mapZoom}/{mapLat}/{mapLon} as defined on the OSM site.
The recipient can hit the link in Whatsapp and and it will open the browser at the right spot with a good map under it.
You can do that directly in Whatsapp but then you get a lousy (street) map.
I did not find a comparable option on the ridewithgps site, only for tracks etc.
