it depends on what kind of search you mean. In case of online search of addresses, start typing and Locus displays last used items beginning with the same letters:
by tapping the left arrow icon you can clear the line or erase history:
In case of offline address search the last searched cities are displayed right below the search line:
If you used "move to" feature, the last used position can be found in the "recently used" tab:

I see, car friendly... therefore you're talking about navigation. There is a history of last navigation destinations. Start Navigation > abort the location selector box > tap Recently used tab:

Well, we're unable to simulate your problem - Locus writes the search or navigation history without problems as you can see on the screenshots and we don't have a clue why it is not in your case.
Another option for you is to create a few own navigation destinations:
1) start Navigate to feature and tap the "pencil" icon in the topbar:
2) select "own location" in the next menu:
3) set the icon and name of the location (home, work, grandma...) and tap the circle icon to select method of defining the target:
4) define your target by showing it on the map, address etc.:
5) confirm. Your navigation destination appears among the location selecting methods:
When you start navigation next time, just select the target from the grid.

Hi Michal, thank you for the hint...
I am usually searching an offline address, and I can see no history (except city). In MoveTo-RecentlyUsed, I can also see no history.
Therefore it is very annoying to type the street and house number over again.
It would be nice and car friendly to have destination history, where destination can be defined by a single click
regards, Milan

ok, but in my case, RecentlyUsed is empty, and I have used tens of destinations before already.Android 4.4.2, Locus newest version.
Any idea?

ok, I got it.So far, I have used Search and then NavigateTo. This does NOT save the destination to history.
Using NavigateTo (and then Search) first does the trick.
Thank you!
