What direction are the top-left-bottom-right edges of the screen pointing. Such a simple function. Where is it hidden?

Good day Ed,

basic orientation of the map is defined by it's projection. All basic maps (all online, vector or maps you've downloaded directly in Locus) use Mercator projection. And this projection has simply top edge pointing to north pole (not magnetic, but true), south to souht pole, etc.

If you have enabled rotation of map (by bottom second button), you should see small arrow directly on a map.
