Where is the automatic altitude offset file stored?
Answered
Interesting I just got this orange warning below. Not sure why as I haven't changed Altitude > Offset > Automatic for months (since SRTM mode was implemented), and never had this warning. I followed the instructions, set offset to manual, then back to Automatic, and saved, and now is appears OK. But I am curious why suddenly I saw this warning, and where the "missing file" is stored.
Good day Andrew,
file is stored in same directory as SRTM data, so in Locus/data/srtm. File is named WW15MGH.DAC . It's possible that you made some changes in this directory, so file was lost by accident.

Yes, entirely true. Thank you. I was selectively deleting SRTM files yesterday as I no longer needed the ones for some of the countries I'd visited.
