Where to change navigation style for route

Hi,

I used the navigation feature for the first time. I found that I can set the style for the route in the navigation settings. But here I only am able to change the color and the width of the route.

When I now start a navigation the style of the route looks different compared to my settings. When I open the route information from the map view I see on the info screen the style settings as it appears on the map and I am able to change it here but this is only for this singel route. I want to change it for all further routes too.

I'm speaking about bike navigation, but I think there is no difference to other vehicles.

Where is the right menu to change the navigation route style ?

Thanks Wolfgang

Hi Wolfgang,

navigation has its own style of line so that the navigated route is always differentiated from other routes. If you need to maintain the style of the original route, set color of the navigation line to total transparency.

Hi Michal,

thanks for your replay. Unfortunately the total transparency did not change anything.

I have made a short video which shows you what I mean. At the beginning you see the default route line and at the end the route line like I would have it by default.

I did not find any setting to change this behavior.

Thanks Wolfgang

Hi Wolfgang,

thanks for the video. You use "guidance" mode for navigation to a point - "guidance" uses a different type of line (see https://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=de:manual:user_guide:functions:guidance#zielfuehrung_entlang_einer_route). The settings you mentioned influence "navigation" mode (https://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=de:manual:user_guide:functions:navigation:point-to-point).

Change mode of your navigation in the navigation dialog to "navigation":

Thanks Michal,

I thought because the Guide Mode is a sub menu of Navigation it is a navigation with just different naming. The only reason why I choosed it was that there is no voice. But in the meanwhile I mentioned that I can turn of the voice in regular navigation mode too.

Many thanks that helped !
