Which "country" includes Palau (Oceania)?
Answered
I am going to Palau shortly and wanted to download Palau maps accordingly. They are not listed as a separate country in the Oceania section of the locus store. But I remembered Palau is part of Micronesia (at least according to Wikipedia:-) so I downloaded Micronesia maps. However this map does not include Palau.
Which map should I download instead?
Hmmm whit the latest Locus Pro version when i go in Locus Store - Per Country - Oceania Folder - Palau is there ... not for you ?

It was there when I looked again now. Thank you!

I downloaded the Palau map now, but it doesn't display properly. The same goes for the Micronesia map that I had downloaded yesterday in my first attempt to get Palau. See attached screenshots.
There also seems to be a problem with the scale shown in the lower left corner. Compare the 2 LocusMicronesiax00km screenshots - I had first taken the one with 100km scale, where tiny land masses are still visible. Then I zoomed in (!) slightly, then the land masses disappeared and it showed 200km scale. This can't be right.
In contrast, South Korea, which I also had downloaded yesterday, displays properly.
My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (SM-N9005) with original Samsung Android 4.4.2 (not rooted), if that plays any role.

Hmmm try to go into Maps - Vector - Menu on the right of Palau line - Choose "Details"
and then try another theme like Cycle for example

Hi Wolfgang,
please use Locus internal themes that should solve your issue.
In case that you use themes from OpenAndroMaps - please download the new updated themes from their web page. I guess that you're influenaced with similar issue: http://help.locusmap.eu/topic/rendering-problem-blue-large-squares

Thanks again, Petr. With the internal theme the land mass is shown properly now.
However the issue with the wrong scales persists. Compare the attached screenshots LocusPalau3km.png and LocusPalau6km.png. They clearly show the map at the same scale, but Locus reports it as 3km in one case, 6km in the next. All I did between the 2 was pinch and expand the map marginally.
Also I am missing some rivers on the island of Babeldoab. On Google Earth I can see some, e.g. the one that ends approx. 1 km north of Ibobang in Karamadoo Bay. Or the one that feeds the waterfall at 7° 32' 28.97" N
134° 34' 40.77" E.
If you think this is a map content issue, please tell me so. However I think there is at least also a map drawing issue as other rivers are shown - but inside a bigger water body. See attached LocusPalauRiverInWater.jpg. Or am I misinterpreting something here?

Issue with scale is really strange I'll report it to main developer. About missing river - it' seems that one river is missin but this river is also missing in the OSM maps that are the main source for vector maps. http://osm.org/go/4u7MyizY-?relation=571805 I'm sorry but we're little bit limited in this situation. Anyway I've found out (based on your screen-shot) that also see ares (the bay) is rendered wrong. I'll focus on it.
