The name of the island is not visible in LoMaps
Answered
Why do I not see the name of the island Grgur N44.86590 E14.76283? I use original Locus Maps with Locus theme hike.
I also don't see ferry terminal 45.02783, 14.49697 Valbiska
DIY store 44.95933, 14.41084 same
Hello.
I'm sorry, there are two reasons: firstly the limitation of current rendering mechanism in Locus for LoMaps. There is semiautomatic mechanism that sometimes hide labels due to "space" on the map. The second reason are names for bigger islands. During generation is island area separated into several parts and every part get own name. Due this fact can have island several names - see attached screenshot (especially island Rab). The question is what's better solution

At least if you zoom out the main island name should be visible.

I agree but difficult to simply do it. However it seems that new mapsforge writer could help. I'll try to focus on it in further improving of LoMaps. Thanks for post
