I am using the app on my Google Nexus Tablet. I would like to add an external GPS receiver XGPS150 & would like to know if I will be able to work with Locus as the app is not included in the supported App list they provide

Good day Zvika,

Locus Map should be able to correctly handle Bluetooth GPS working on Bluetooth 3 (not modern Bluetooth LE). On the page of this device, I see support for "Bluetooth", but unfortunately no exact specification. Also in their list of supported app, for some reason (not working or they do not know), Locus Map is missing ( https://gps.dualav.com/gpsapps ).

We are not able to test all available devices, so cannot guarantee it will work. Thanks for understanding.

I attach the answer I got from the manufacture "he XGPS products are compatible with any devices that support the Bluetooth SPP, this would include your iPad and Google Nexus 7"

Is Bluetooth SPP works with Bluetooth 3?

Hello,

then it looks like it should work.

Even if there may be any problem in Locus Map itself, there should be an alternative to using external BT GPS over Bluetooth GPS application from Gooogle Play.
