Zoom lock scale default needed

I expect zoom-lock to zoom-out instead of zoom-in on-click.
I don`t know what was initial purpose of zoom-lock button in bottom-down bu I use zoom lock to zoom out to show larger area with high-detail. It is good especially when colored tourist tracks are not displayed in the map in lower scale.
This forces me to zoom-lock, and twice zoom out every time i want to need to use it.
What about to put editable default for zoom-lock in settings?
I like this idea

Zoom lock in latest versions of Locus remember previous scale before you turned zoom lock off, so it cover both cases.
So result is, that I believe there is no need for additional configuration.
