Add battery status and movement alarm to live tracking info

Amongst other things, I use live tracking to track my car (with an old phone under the dash) since various people drive it (they're aware it is tracked) and in case it is stolen while I'm travelling and heavily reliant on the car.

In this case the two pieces of information would make it useful to know when the car moves i.e. is stolen (or if people you are tracking in your group set off or move position) and to ensure the battery is being charged properly.

I'm sure the battery information wouldn't be a problem to display along with the GPS info already displayed, but would it also be possible to receive a notification once a live tracking starts moving?

Implementation could involve simply selecting a "Stopped" option on the observer's device for the individual being tracked and then entering the distance to be travelled before receiving the notification that they're moving again.

Thanks for considering!

Even though the votes are lacking, is there any chance the movement alarm here will ever be implemented?

The alarm could be chieved using tasker if we had access with api to live tracking data

Hi Jimmy,

Live tracking system development is paused for a while. We are currently focusing mainly on web.locusmap.app planner. The next step, hopefully in 2022 will be an integration of the live-tracking into this web. Then will be time to consider extensions like this one ...
