Is the statement of energy consumption including basal metabolic rate or is it a net additional consumption?

Shortly: yes, consumption should include your basal metabolic value in both methods app use for computing (with known and unknown heart rate value).

I really hope, this won't be necessary :). If there is a known verified method that gives a good result, we can discuss it of course (maybe better in a separate topic) ... thanks

As I remarked this summer, there are sometimes unlogically results. I don't declare, to know how to do it better, but I would like to improve some different ways to calculate this, only using existing variables.

Don't want to stress you, I think, this can displace a little part of your work into the community.

Hmm, based on different support where one user found that also some tracks has problems with energy computation, I've found a minor issue that caused huge values for tracks, that had a "pause" inside.

Issue will be fixed in the next app version, sorry for that.

About user-defined algorithm > I've already few times before desribed steps I do in the app so it is not a secret. Mechanism is anyway too complex to let user write algorith in some text field, sorry.
