Is the statement of energy consumption including basal metabolic rate or is it a net additional consumption?

Shortly: yes, consumption should include your basal metabolic value in both methods app use for computing (with known and unknown heart rate value).

What do you think about giving user the possibility to calculate the energy consumption by themselves, using die built-in variables of locus?
As I remarked this summer, there are sometimes unlogically results. I don't declare, to know how to do it better, but I would like to improve some different ways to calculate this, only using existing variables.
Don't want to stress you, I think, this can displace a little part of your work into the community.
