How to configure panel hiding in a config file

Hi!

Please, tell me, how to specify the options to hide the top and bottom panels in the settings file. (Preferably for version 2.x)

In the settings through the menu, this can be done, but the settings are not available on the smart watch, because when you click on the settings button, the program crashes.

And install on the smart watch only the program version 2.x is obtained.

Newer versions either cannot be installed, or cannot be initialized after startup.

Hi,

what device do you use? Locus Map is not optimized for a full-Android smartwatch and runs only on devices with Android 5+. The top and bottom panel behavior can be configured only within the app settings.

I'm use Amazfit Stratos 3.

Can I change app settings in a Sqlite or other settings DB?

Locus Map can communicate only with Wear OS smartwatches via Locus Map Watch add-on and with Garmin watches via add-on Locus Map for Garmin.

I installed the program version 2.14 on this watch. It works.
I just want to add hiding panels.

Locus Map 2.14 was released 10 years ago. Sorry, but we don't support such an old version of the app. The panel setting is in an internal file accessible only with a rooted device.

Tell me the path to the file and what is its format?
I can probably get the superuser on the watch.

It's in /data/data/menion.android.locus/shared_pref/menion.android.locus_preferences.xml file. There are almost 3k parameters. The IDs are probably "KEY_B_MENU_TOP_PANEL_HIDE" and "KEY_B_MENU_BOTTOM_PANEL_HIDE". Good luck! :)
