Can't login to runalyze

Solved

When trying to login to runalyze for to export a track, there's only a white screen with back and reload buttons.

Other services, like strava, open well to login...

Hi,

how do you log into Runalyze? It works OK when an email and password is used but it doesn't work when you use Google or Facebook. These end with an error message that Runalyze hasn't got an access approved due to some security concerns. That is of course not a problem of Locus Map so please, contact Runalyze support for advice.

Hi Michal,

it's simply not possible to even enter credentials as the login page isn't loading at all. The screen stays white with only locus' back & reload button present where the later does nothing.

What type of the phone/ OS do you use? Could you please repeat the error and create a debug log? Thanks

We are sorry but unfortunately, this issue is not correctly reproducible and without the error simulation we can't make an assessment of the error cause.

Hello.

Well I don't know what else I need to do to help solving this issue.

Export Track ->
0878cccaccd5da2dffa133d0703c162b

Clicking Login it will only dfisplay the following screen in White.

13414711e36a7f21750659f2d21b0711

That is pointing to that URL I pasted on the message above.

Thanks

This one is still present. New phone, fresh Locus Install with backup, no login possible to runalyze ;(

Hi

This one seems to be solved or was only present with older Android phones.

But...

LM (3.70.16) login to Runalyze opens oauth page to login to Runalyze. Clicking allow does nothing at first. Second click gives a failure site from Runalyze (Hammer hit us) and Locus receives no answer.

Hi,

Michael Pohl (Runalyze developer) has contacted us that a few people also reported problems with logging in to him. However, he himself is not able to replicate the problem, and neither do we. So, there is most probably some issue with the OAuth authentication. Please try installing Chrome on your device and testing the log-in again.

Hi Michal,

I've set Chrome as standard app to use for authentication. Result is the same:

Locus needs to login for to export the track, hit login, chrome opens with login and authorization (allow/deny). Hitting allow once does nothing but very very shortly shows some loading without doing nothing. Thus I need to hit allow a second time which results in "the hammer hit us" on runalyze site.

Locus is never the less shown as connected app in runalyze but still shows "need to login" on export site.

I've tried with mobile data and WLAN. There's no adblocker running or anything else.

So imho there's something not correctly working on hitting "allow" the first time (you see in the video in the upper left that there's some short loading after hitting allow first time!

we've identified the bug and it will be fixed in the next app version.
