Suggestion: Show coords posted as part of cache log

Hi. I just noticed that for geocaches where there are coords attached to a log (eg GC3D8GA), Locus doesn't display those coords. (In the XML, this is the groundspeak:log_wpt tag.)

Sometimes a cache's coords aren't very accurate, and occasionally a finder posts their own version of the coords, which can be very useful info.

Thanks for considering this...

I had no idea, such feature exists, so thanks for this.

Because it was quite easy task and because I found it useful, idea will be added in next Locus version.

That was, what, an hour since I posted the suggestion?

Truly amazing, thank you!

hour and thirty minutes of work. I just finished one previous task and was thinking what next. So your luck ;).

Hmm, going "Download logs" makes those coordinates disappear. (Or specifically, the "Show on map" link at bottom of the log disappears.) This is after loading the cache originally via GPX.

Is that a G4L function, or part of Locus?

I see that if loading the cache via G4L's live map or import GC functions, the coords don't show up either. So maybe it is a G4L issue. (Or feature request.)

Hello, this is maybe a question to Arcao, a developer of G4L add-on, if there is any difference between logs received with common import of cache and logs receive upon request "Update logs".
