pressure sensor

Hello I've had a Pixel 9a for a month now. For recorded hikes in the mountains, the elevation gain measured by the pressure sensor is far too high. This is due to the pressure sensor being too sensitive. When the phone is touched, the pressure measured by the sensor, and therefore the altitude, changes (altitude measured with Locus Maps and pressure measured by the Sensors app). When I open the SIM card slot (the phone is no longer waterproof), there is no longer any variation in the pressure measured when the phone is touched. Does the Locus team have a solution? Can an external pressure sensor be used? I also had this problem with the Pixel 6a, but it was less severe. Thank you Christian

Deactivate the pressure sensor. Or file a complaint.
