The display keeps turning itself on

Redmi Note 13, Android 15, Locus Map 4.35

As soon as I want to navigate a loaded track, I can't turn off the display permanently — neither with gestures nor with the button. After less than a second of darkness, the display turns back on automatically.

I've tried a lot of things and don't know what to do next.

I'd appreciate some help.

Hi Marek, yes I do. If you meant that I have the screen set to dim automatically after 15 seconds while navigating, that's correct. But I also use the sensor with a single swipe or the dim button.

Update:

I think I've found the cause: When I disable the Geocaching add-on, the screen stays dark.
