Pictogram assigning map not consistant

Hi,

While I was trying to search for a way to assign a color to pictogram of one point when the map is zoomed out, I stumbled on an inconsistency.

I know you can assign an pictogram to a point, but you see this when zoomed in. When zoomed out it uses apparently the pictogram of the map it's located in. But when you copy that point to another map with a different color pictogram, the color of the zoomed out pictogram changes depending of the map you open the point from. But what if you not open it from a map/folder, but from the map/chart?

I was hoping to organize the points on the map/chart by color.

Usecase:

I'm making a roadtrip and have the points located by country, but I like to assign per point a specific color to differentiate between a geopark, national park, lake, mountain, Gorge etc in that country when zoomed out.

As there is an inconsistency in the map color when copied, I hope you can provide a solution for my usecase

Hi,

I'm afraid I don't understand clearly what your issue is. Maybe it's because of the terminology used. What do you mean by opening a point from a map/folder and a map/chart? Points do not change when you change the background map. Could you please send a few screenshots so the problem is described a bit more clearly? Thanks.
