try it...

Description

    • Since version 2.3.2 Locus Map offers advanced configuration options through config.cfg file stored inLocus Map root directory in your phone memory
This file is automatically created during Locus Map first start (if it does not exist from its previous installation). Data are loaded at start and stored back to file in the end, so even if this file allows changing some settings that are also changeable in the application, settings will not be lost.

Hello guys,

firstly, Google Navigation inside Locus is not unfortunately possible due to terms of use: The Google Maps Directions API may only be used in conjunction with displaying results on a Google map; using Directions data without displaying a map for which directions data was requested is prohibited - complete text.

Additional option in configuration file is just for advanced testing on own risk and it is not generally supported. If you have any problems with this feature, I'm sorry, but I can't help here.

Thanks for understanding.

Hi,I know you said it's not generally supported, but since google is the only navigation source that works correctly in my country,I appreciate if you consider this.

I was using google as navigation source from the beginning I purchased this app and it worked just perfectly, but from few months back when I press the navigate button an "over query limit" error comes up and navigation fails, would be great if you help me to fix this issue so I can use the app again.

Thanks.

Good day Vaykossil,

I really would like to add Google navigation as another source for routing in the application. It won't be technically a problem and error you see is most probably caused by incorrect API key. Anyway, we can't do it due to Google Terms of use, as I wrote in my previous post. Sorry to write this and thanks for understanding.
