Exchange of ideas of how to plan a cycling tour in foreign countries

Hi guys,

for the last 4 weeks, I have planned a cycling tour in a foreign country.

At first, I didn't know where to start or how to proceed.

Through time, I gained some experiences and I would like to know how other people are planning their bike tours.

If it is not too off topic for this Locus help desk, I propose the idea of creating a site on which we present our techniques. I mean, we are using Locus on our mobile devices for displaying our points and routes.

But not everybody is planning their tours with Locus directly. The most of us are planning in front of a PC and are transferring their result to Locus.

The question is, how are you planning multi-day bicycle tours in foreign countries?
