Good day Petr, others ...

Please give a try to Locus Map Beta version.

Unfortunately, since this (and following) version, Geocaching online features will be available only on Android 4.4 and higher. On older Androids, these features will be disabled. Also since this version, Locus Map will need at least 4.1 Android, so support for 4.0.3 and 4.0.4 was removed.

Thanks for understanding and let me know if app will work as expected.

Good day Petr,

thanks for a bug report and sorry for complications.

Based on the error in your screenshot, it looks like a problem in Locus Map, caused by recent changes on Geocaching.com server. Are you using Android 4.x? From what I search now, it seems that this is a bug in older Android versions. I'll inform you here, once we figure out any solution. Thanks for undestanding.

Good evening Menion,

It looks good. Forwarding logs to server is working properly.

Thanks for your support.

Hello Menion,

also I tried the beta. Log in on GC.com comes only from Android 4.4.

Since Android 4.4 "Locus - addon GSAK Database" no longer works but.

I would use it but happy to continue. Can't you do for 4.2?

Martin Sloup has also managed for Geocaching4Locus.

Please!

Thank you very much and greetings

Hi Holger,

as you can read here .....

(1.) .... the GSAK addon is not an addon developed by the Locus team.

(2.) .... the GSAK addon is no longer being supported by the developer of that addon.

(3.) .... the link in my link to github.com is no longer valid.

So I am afraid that the Locus team is not able to help you with this issue.

c.s.g.

PS: I am using GSAK with Locus too but never used the GSAK addon. Here you can find my export settings in GSAK to create a gpx-file for importing the geocaches direct in Locus. This works for me now for many years.

Hallo c.s.g.

Holger

Good day guys,

if is here anyone with Android 4.1, 4.2 or 4.4 interested in upload of logs, download of PQ files etc over Locus, give a try to this test (Locus Map Free) version: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1AWWCKKv6jkap-5nD5m39t8lLPKvjUPLH/view?usp=sharing and let me know if login works correctly. Thanks

Hi Menion, I'm Using Android 4.4.2 and LocusMap Pro and failed to upload logs/download PQ the last days. I tried your Beta and found both working again! :-) Thank you very much. I suppose the availability of the functionality in LocusMap Pro will be in the near future. Regards. Dirk

Hello Dirki,

I'm glad you found a working Beta version. Indeed, Groundspeak decided to remove support for some older system of communication and this is an unfortunate result. So next version ...
