Wear for Locus as standalone app

wear for locus is great. thank you.

i use locus as my primary tracking app (instead of strava and all the others). i would guess many do the same. therefor i think it would be great to record a track with the watch (using the build in gps / barometer / heart rate) without taking the phone. the track could then be transfered to the phone when a connection is established. this would be pretty much what the wear version of strava does.

Hello guys,

I agree that this feature would be really nice, but it is not planned for now, or at least not in the short-term, since it is not so easy to implement.

So, please, if you are interested in this feature, definitely add a vote here to let us know that this feature is really wanted.

Oh, how I wish to be able to have all my locus lovings on phone and watch, but would be able to leave phone at home when running 🏃 :-)

Trackaufzeichnung und Navigation sowie Speicherung (Import/Export) auf Google Drive oder Dropbox würde reichen ..

I want to use Gear S3 stand-alone and load GPX files to follow a route when running. I also would like a base map in the background

stand alone app with offline map in my Galaxy Watch Active 2 is something I would be happy to pay for

The feature would be best when running, in line and others where I'm light. Other sports and activities do not think they are so demanding in weight with or without a phone. I have LG SPORT watches equipped with all sensors, but for the necessity of transferring data with my mobile phone, I have to have a phone with me when running in unknown space. It bothers ...

I paid for the app thinking that I can transfer the route from phote to my garmin vivoactive 4 and just use the watch while cylcing.. turns out my phone needs to be navigating the entire time, consuming battery.. now i'm disappointed.

I think being able to download the map material for an area or gpx track would increase the device speed a lot. I sometimes need to wait for some seconds until the map is updated when I pick up my watch.

Also beging able to just download the gpx track would help without map material.

V oblasti silničních map to dokáže pouze HereWeGo! Byli byste jediní v oblasti turistických map!

Proč mají dnes hodinky vlastní GPS a spoustu GB paměti?

Hey here is Georg, I agree - just for a short run I dont need my smartphone or actually dont wanna take anything with me. Just record with my galaxy - watch the route. this feature would be great and to transfer later to the mobile and watch it in detail. georg

A wear os app similar to garmin fenix / epic (offline topo maps, rotating map navigation, sport data fields) would be a unique selling point.
