How to show bearing on compass screen?

Hi,

Is there a way to show a bearing to a waypoint on the compass screen without having to develop my own customised screen via https://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:advanced:customization:screens ?

Currently, I have the bearing appear on the map using the setting under guidance but it will be more useful to me to have it in big letters on the compass screen. Especially since I like to hike with a compass where I only turn on my GPS's screen/locus maps for finding my bearing.

Hi,

- select a waypoint and start guidance to it (https://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:functions:guidance)

- tap the GPS button/indicator and select "Compass" tab (https://docs.locusmap.eu/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:tools:gps#compass)

- you see bearing to your waypoint on the compass screen

While that gives me an arrow indicating the bearing, what I would like is the text of what the bearing is in big letters. So I can quickly reference it.

I think you need to submit this as an idea, in the mean time the only other way would be to use the tasker plugin and create an overlay with tasker , bearing in big letters wouldnt fit in well with the rest of the compass page info, but bearing would be a good idea to have present

@Remote Explorer. In the meantime, simply rotating phone untill guide arrow north so then azimuth=bearing.

@Michal But Guidance bearing would be usefull info

Also the declination box is very large, would be better to have 2 rows of 3 info boxes

even better if this could be customised like the guidance info boxes on map screen and recording side panels

@Michal yes, the azimuth reading is big enough and would be a great spot for the bearing
