PubDate incorrect in RSS

Kimmo Huoman shared this problem 9 years ago
Not a Problem

Helpdesk forum RSS quite often (not always) sets the PubDate incorrectly. This causes problems following the feed, as new version announcements etc are possibly hidden between old posts.

You can see this by looking into the source of http://help.locusmap.eu/rss

Good day Kimmo,

this problem will be quite a problem. UseResponse (company that develop this Helpdesk system) is just working on completely new version of this system, so they do not do a lot fixes in this old system.

New system should be ready during a June/July anyway if you really find this annoying for now, it's possible to report this isseu directly on their site here http://www.community.useresponse.com/. Otherwise please wait to new system

Aah, sorry for unnecessary report.

At the time of writing the UseResponse RSS showed all times correctly, so I thought it had to be a problem related to Locus helpdesks config.

No problem.

Hmm hard to say where to search for a solution. I'm not much skilled with php in which is wrote this system and we also do not do any modifications. So if this is really only a problem on our helpDesk, I have absolutely no idea how to solve it.

So please wait, till June and if same issue will be also in new system, I'll report this problem to UseResponse dev, thanks for understanding

No, it's not just Locus helpdesk. It just appeared so, when I reported the bug, UseResponse's own RSS suffers from the same problem.
