View of " the distance to go"

Hello Helpdesk,
I was searching for the way to get information about the distance to go on the screen, when you imprt a gpx-route and just walk along the line.
When i tap the screen there is info about walked and the to walk distance. I just want it on the screen as permanent information, f.i. with the batterylevel, time, etc information.
Maybe you can inform me if the is possible now inthe latest version.
If not, maybe it can become a feature in a future version.

just start navigation along the route. All the needed information is on display:
Distance to target is in the navigation panel (see more at https://docs.locusmap.app/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:functions:navigation#control_panel), battery status can be displayed in the topbar information box (more at https://docs.locusmap.app/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:maps_mainscr_ctrl#information_box)

Thank you for the quick reply.
As we walk i just view the screen to see if we do not leave the colored trail. I did not use the navigation function.
Next wednesday i will use this function to see the distance to go-information on the screen.
I also will read the suggested manual again, so i become aware of this functionality.

actually, you can get the info even without navigation but the procedure is more complicated:
- tap the route on the place from where you need to know the distance
- in the route panel, tap the trackpoint button in the bottom left corner
- you can see the distance to the end of the route:¨

I tried it and it is usefull and on demand available.
I think i will use this one more often then the navigation solution.
But as always: better have more then one way, then searching for one way, when you are on the road.
