Hi,

it would be great to have the Hint also shown in the child waypoint (3dot) menu while guiding. See picture.

Thanks Wolfgang

This is a very good idea, making live of geocachers much easier.

Hi guys,

please explain to me, why this is a good idea. Because I can't imagine, why hint helps in case, I'm searching for the waypoint and not the cache itself. Thanks.

1: When I do a multi and add a new waypoint as final waypoint then I navigate to this one. When I now want to have a view on the hint because I arrived at GZ I have to do a lot of clicks inside locus to get the hint. And when I now want to go back to the navigation I have again some clicks. This situation happens all the times.

2: There also exist caches which have a list of hints for each waypoint e.g. GC1J52Y

Hope that explains the reason better than in my initial post.

Hi, some caches hints contain hints for the waypoints. E.g. GC1P7PD

Thanks guys, makes sense.

Added. Anyway seems there are already too many options. Mainly on the LM4, it should be converted to display simply bottom waypoint popup. Hmm, will I'll look at it later...

That is very helpful, thanks! If this was relatively fast implemented, would it also possible to add a menu entry to add a new waypoint? I know i have ask this already here and i now there is a option, but matter what i do i have to click up to 5 times to add a new waypoint for a Multi-Cache.

If there would be an entry like in the example-picture in the Guide-Menu it would be great.

Hmm I think if this menu makes sense at all. All features are available under three clicks, so only a one click more. Simply tap on the whole top guidance panel. This opens the bottom full GC waypoint detail. Here you have to swipe a little bit up and tap on the "Add waypoint button".

I know, and after that choose how to add the waypoint. :-)

During a multi-cache, I use guidance to show me the destination. If I now want to enter the next waypoint on the basis of found coords, I have to click several times or scroll and then I have to say how I want to create the waypoint. With the additional menu entry, I imagine that I can simply get to the input field and enter the coordinates. So instead of 4 or 5 click and scroll actions, it only takes two clicks to get there.
