Import GPX is missing data

Sometime in the last few weeks the behavior of import GPX seems to have change for the worse.

I use lab2gpx to create GPX files containing data about adventure labs.

Inspecting the GPX file with a text editor I can confirm that the tags
<groundspeak:long_description... contain the full description of the labs stage, ie everything I need.

I then import the GPX in locus by navigating to the file in the Android file system and selecting "Locus Map" as APP to be used for the import.

In Locus I now see the expected points but without the long description, see screenshot.

Is there another bug or any other way to import the GPX with all the contained data?
