New library - how to search for tracks or points nearby?
Not a Problem
I love the new tracks&points library in v4.28. However, I miss the function to search for any tracks or points nearby a point on the map. Previously, this was part of the search function (search for online or offline addresses, etc.). Now I can no longer select Tracks or Points in the search menu!
I also miss this quick way to search. Best – but very tedious – workaround I found so far: Open My Library, click magnifier icon, do not enter a search term but press 3-dot-menu, sort by, distance, press 3-dot-menu, filter, points, enable/disable, tracks, enable/disable. After you finished the search, do not forget to reverse all setting changes you did for the search, and do the settings you want for manual browsing your library.
A quicker, but much more limited alternative: You can also click Map-Screen content and then nearest points, but it's only for points not tracks, and you can't enter a search term.

Hi Olaf,
there is a search button at the topbar of the library:
You can also determine if you want to search in folder names or descriptions:

Thanks. I had figured that out already. However, this is a clumsy way in contrast to the previous search from the global search function as the other commenter also pointed out.
