Future of "Custom screen"?

There's an ancient tool called "Custom Screen". Most of its themes aren't matching with modern LM4 any more e.g. "HEXgeo". No new Screens since many years. And the only matching screens ("Simple Dash", "Simple Map") could be completely redone by using newer tool "Dashboard".
Maybe it would be a good idea to bury "Custom screen" from LM4 and do custom sreen overlaying with tool "Dashboard" only?

I agree with your idea if the options for sliding and rotating the compass can be made possible in another way.
I still use CS with these display options.

thanks for the good idea/question. As you already read in mentioned topic, I wanted to finish some extra features in the dashboard first, before removal.
But I want to to this already for a few years and never had time for this...
Anyway as I see in the stats, it is still used quite a lot, so ... not right time for removal yet.
