Offline LoPoints vanished

Not a Problem

Dear Lady, Sir,

I've used Locus 4.30 since it appeared in the Google playe store. The sme applies to your LoMaps dated June 16.

Despite another Problem with LoPoints, wich is promised to be solved in the next Locus version(1), I have a new problem with the offline LoPoints.

It is described easily: The points simply vanished.

I usually go to the points pressing the 2nd buttom from the right, bottom row on any LoMap (screenshot 3). Now, since a couple of weeks, I've received an error screen (screenshot 1) indicating that I should download your maps.

In the meantime, I restarted Locus and deleted and downloaded your LoMap newly. The error remains.

Please remember, that my Locus environment didn't change. I, however, got a new version of Android (screenshot 2) about the time when the error started to occur. Therefore, Android's interface to your API possibly is not upward compatible.

Anyway, it is most probably not my problem. Best wishes,

Wolfgang

I just realize, that the upload of the Locus map screenshot didn't work. This is not important. You can the offline LoPoints regarding this problem going this path:

All functions > points > Other POIs

Sorry for the inconvenience, regards,

Wolfgang

Hi Wolfgang,

1) the problem with the inability to create a user point from a LoPoint was fixed in the latest app version.

2) "Other POIs" category refers to non-Locus POIs like OAM POIs etc., or LoPoints from LoMaps older than 6/2025. LoPoints from LoMaps generated after 6/2025 are turned on/off by the "LOPoints" button in the content panel and it is not necessary to differ online and offline LoPoints because both databases were integrated (see https://docs.locusmap.app/doku.php?id=manual:user_guide:points:locus_maps_pois)
