Security warning on Google login
Not a Problem
They promised that Locus 3 would stay, but now in Spring it's not anymore 😢 So I now I try if Locus 4 is a option.
Offline maps are not imported. When I want to login to my Google cloud to import it myself I get this warning by Google.

The Locus Map Classic can be manually installed from the APK file, when versions are available at https://bit.ly/lmVersions
The error message occurs when you want to login to Google Drive. Unfortuantely direct import/export from Google Drive is not longer supported. We are sorry for the inconvenience but as of September 1, 2025, we have been forced to disconnect Locus Map and all of our other apps from Google Drive because we have been denied full access to the service. However, you can access your backup/exort/import via the system file manager (in LM4):
Unfortunately, it is not currently possible to set up GDrive for backup or other features, so please use Dropbox or OneDrive instead.

Sounds like a risk to use if you ask me. I go seach for a alternative.

There is no security risk because the app does not access Google Drive at all. Sharing or importing from Google Drive is handled entirely by the official Google Drive app.
