Cloud backup

I’ve been using Locus Map for many years now. Both versions – Classic and Locus Map 4 – and I still use them both. My favourite tools.

I want to back up LM from my current phone as well as from a few older ones.
I’ve discovered that my cloud service – currently the most affordable option, IDrive 5TB – cannot be used for this purpose. I have to purchase a separate Dropbox account specifically for Locus Map. So, in order to back up Locus Map, I’ll have to spend €100 a year.

I don’t mind paying an annual subscription fee for Locus Map, but I find it absolutely incomprehensible that I’m then automatically obliged to pay for Dropbox as well.
Is there a possible solution to this?
