Application language will not change

When change the language in the application settings, the language will not change.The language of the application changes only if change the language of the device.

This is a change in the application that will be permanent. You can change the language of application only by changing the device language.

Now I found this thread.
So that means, that language setting in Locus is not possible?
Why then keep it in settings?
You could remove this setting completely, it's irritating, if it doesn't change anything.

As I understand: Google doesn't want Apps to change the language so only a hack could do it and the hack doesn't work anymore.

I also stumbled about this issue after trying to switch Locus' language from German to English to see the English words for several functions I'm writing about in the forums here.

And also the funtion still seems to work on some devices), but additoinally write a short note that language changes on some devices just can be done within Android's device settings.

I'm very sorry, but our developers are still working on this bug. This feature will be retained because it works well on other devices. For some devices, you can change the application language only by changing the device language.
