Language setting not working since V 3.41.0

Since upgrading to 3.41 the language setting for UI menus etc is not obeyed any more.

It seems to always use system default language even if explicit language is selected.

Tried to change setting multiple times.

LG Leon Android 6. Sytem language is German. Trying to set UI language to English.

It did work before.

Have it too, on Xiaomi Mi A1 with Android 9.0

This bug is present on other apps too, seems that there was a change in Android, I had this bug only since Android 9, on previous Android 7 this never happened as I remember.

Same here, 3.42.0, Android 8.0, Sony Xperia G8232

In my case, only the left drawer menu and toasts are affected, other screens displayed properly.

Is it OS related and can't be fixed?
