better Knowledge Base searching

I suggest that the Locus Knowledge Base have a much more complete and visible table of contents so one does not have to click through topics to find the one of interest. The Main Menu should have subtopics listed below each of the 8 listed ones. With the present format to find, for example, a tutorial on navigation one has to remember that it is filed under Community, a topic not mentioned in the Main Menu.

Hi Fred,

you are right some topics are hard to find.

As mentioned the category Community is deprecated and its content will be moved to other categories.

In addition there is a search field on the main page which reveals the topics containing e.g. the word navigation.

I think the main page will be very unclear if it shall contain a list of all topics.

The knowledge base will definatly have a new look and some more features, once Menion puts some effort into it... :D

Hi Fred

As Tom wrote

If you searching for a keyword - you can use the "search function" - right on the top - on knowledge base...

btw.

i vote for your idea ;)

Maybe I should not have used the word ̈searching ̈. I want to see a much more open and inclusive list of topics and subtopics as soon as the KB site is entered. One does not always know exactly what one is looking for but it comes to mind upon seeing a title or a brief description.

Don`t worry - the "KB" is growing up yet.

And if you need some other infos, you can ask in the forum too:

I hope that current structure of knowledge base is a lot more usable

then before. If you have any good ideas on improvement, we should

discuss it here. Othwerwise, take current structure as final (not

content, just structure)
