Hi there, i have experimented with locus for some time to use it for professional field data colletion. It ́s not perfect but it could for my use with a few tweaks. I will post them as seperate topics in ideas.
custom form are essential, i think someone mentioned this before. maybe teaming up with http://opendatakit.org/ is a possible solution

unfortunately this feature won't be available (is not planned) for Locus application.
We are currently working on Locus GIS application which will do exactly what's needed.
