Fast switching between offline maps.

Hello! I would like to have function for fast one touch switching between maps.
It can be separate buttons with the maps appropriated to them.
It is necessary to compare an old and new different maps "face to face".
Now two taps are necessary for this function, and in case of a choice of next map the previous map disappears completely. It is not evident for comparing.
I think such function will be very useful for treasures hunters, diggers etc.

I totally understand what you need!
Switching overlayed maps by opacity (transparency) slider on the main Map screen would be the fastest and, probably, the most convenient way to compare them.

Not long ago I proposed this exact idea http://help.locusmap.eu/topic/opacity-slider-for-the-overlays-layer-directly-on-the-main-map-screen so you can vote, if this is what you need.

tools to quick switch to certain map type for this use-case are really not planned.
Anyway I may imagine some kind of mentioned idea with opacity slider directly visible on the map or at least improved semi-transparency of overlay window when you change opacity. So suggest to vote into mentioned idea. Thanks for understnading.
