Is it possible to add an existing waypoint to an recordet track?

I thought he was asking about waypoints, not adding track points. Aren't those different things? I'd like to know if we can add waypoints to a recorded track. In other words, I'd like to go into a track and be able to add a new waypoint for extra information (for example, "Ate lunch here" or "Camped here") instead of just editing the track to be more accurate. Is that currently possible?

It seems like adding waypoints like that does not get added to the track but instead gets added to the normal POI database. This is not ideal because they should be connected to the track. If I hide the track, I want the new ones to hide with it. If I share the track, I want those to be shared with it as well.

I can create a new topic but it seems to be relevant to this discussion.

Nicolai didn't provide more information so I directed him to the track editing chapter in the manual and he was obviously satisfied. However, it's as you say. Adding such waypoints is planned - see here: http://help.locusmap.eu/topic/is-there-a-list-of-waypoints-in-a-track
