Live tracking - history of friends

I like the new live tracking service which anybody can see in a browser, but I think it's missing the history of last positions.
I would like to see on the map the whole track which my buddy took this day, so it would be nice to implement also track displaying for the last 24 hours.In the mountains 2 or 3 friends can synchronize their directions for meeting

we were also thinking about such idea, but nothing like this is now implemented and currently nothing like this is currently planned. Please check existing ideas related to live tracking ( http://help.locusmap.eu/search/tag%3Alive+tracking ) and feel free to vote for these interesting to you.
