Locus Map support for/by Fuchsia

Hello,

Google will quit Android in the near future. Android 10 is nearly finished, but it seems that Fuchsia will be the next OS from Google.

What are the plans from you guys? Are going to move Locus to Fuchsia, when it becomes available?

Hello Andreas,

well, Google is famous for its enormous number of projects that died in the middle ... you probably know this https://gcemetery.co/ :).

I'm not saying that Fuchsia will end there as well. But we will definitely wait a little longer, what will Fuchsia evolve into.

Also, from what I know, Fuchsia should be able to directly run Android native apps, which I hope, should save Locus Map app from its painful death.

Anyway shortly: we currently have absolutely no plans regards Fuchsia project.

However, if Fuchsia (or soemthing else) will replace Android, do you consider to move Locus Map in that case?

It depends, Andreas. When something like this happens or will be close to this (something replaces Android), we may discuss it.
