Locus cannot display tiles from a WMS source (unknown problem tiles).
Solved
I`ve added a WMS map from this source: http://wms7.hgis.cartoninjas.net/?sou... Locus connects, lets me select a layer but when I go back to the map view I can see only "Unknown problem" tiles. That source works fine with Quantum GIS.

very nice map! Thanks for report, problem solved now. Issue was in generating correct URL requests on WMS server.
Anyway I see some wrongly loaded images on some places. Seems to be problem on server. You`ll see on your own. I`ll have to check it in some desktop WMS browser

I'm able to connect and see all the details of the map, but it is not showing and I briefly sees the 'Unknown error' message on tiles.
I'm using Locus Map 4 and the URL works fine in QGIS
