Navigation line doesn't start at my position

Solved

When I use "Navigate to" in car, the thick navigation line sometimes doesn't start at "me" icon but instead it starts ahead. I don't know when exactly this happens but it happens to me very often especially when I use it for longer distances. And I have a feeling (not confirmed), that the distance between "me" and navigation line is getting bigger and bigger in time.

Good day Martin,

I'm aware of this problem, that may happen in cases, Locus incorrectly compute distance to start and distance to end from your current position. Unfortunately I was still not able to simulate this problem at home ...

Hi, thanks for clarification. This happens to me fairly often when I drive. Is there anything I can do to help you simulate the problem?

Hmm hard to say. It happen to you when you use "Navigate to" function?

Are you able to write me coordinates of start and end point, which when used, display exactly same problem as on screenshot?

Hi, when I next hit this problem I'll make some more screenshots and save start, end and current position to help you simulate the problem.

Thanks. I was testing Locus during a weekend and same issue happen to me too. I'll try to invest some time into it because I probably know where (just do not know exactly why) this happen. Thanks for now.

Hi, I don't know if it is still useful, but I made some observations related to this bug. I started journey (~200km) and the line was perfect at the beginning. After around 20 km it already started about 200m ahead. After another 20 km it started about 400m ahead. When I was getting closer to destination the line started getting back to "me" icon.

Please see screenshots attached. "Praha" point is what you get by putting "Praha" to "Search" -> "Address".

Hi Martin,

I just returned in Sunday from 600 km long trip and this bug was really crazy. Line started around 1 km before my location so I usually do not see navigation line at all, crazy! I was anyway trying to solve it yesterday almost whole morning. It is better, but still not perfect. Anyway I know about it and I'll definitelly try to solve it, thanks!

Just a quick note, the line sometimes starts behind me, not ahead.

Hello Martin, as I wrote. I'm well aware of this problem, but even after almost half of day I spend on it, I was not able to fix it correctly. So I'll try it later.
