IMHO, for that activity, it makes no sense to display a number for calories/joules consumption in "energy" because in that activity, the variation is much much bigger than for other activities: Do you drive in support mode eco or turbo? a motor with 60 or 100Nm? a motor with 250 or 1000W? Do you let the motor do nearly the whole work (=energy consumption nearly nothing) or do you add a lot on top, e.g. drive well beyond 25km/h? => IMHO, we shall not display "energy" at all or as a range, or let user configure bike specifications

For e-bike it is possible to use any one with many bike profiles.
I would first ask for a car profile. You may have more users ;-)
