Sort Offline Address Search results by distance

Offline Address Search currently sorts results alphabetically. Generally I would find sorting by distance to be more useful. For simple example below the closest street is 1.8km away. I have seen examples where the top results are 100's km away whereas the desired street is further down the list but just around the corner. Maybe there an is argument to allow sorting by both methods?
I like this idea 
Switching between sorting by distance and alphabet would be great, sometimes I better know the location, sometimes the spelling.
