Hi,

Talking about temperature data in locus: At the moment there is no option to actually show the recorded temp of a track. Is it possible to add the temperature to the stats and graph page of a track (min/max temp, graph)

Cheers, Ulrich.

Yes, I just purchased a Garmin Tempe external sensor for my GPSMAP 66.

Locus does not display temperature data after importing GPX / FIT :-(

Hi guys,

as Mick wrote, the temperature is for some time available in the charts. Anyway in the next Locus Map 4 version, it will be available also in the track statistics screen and also for the dashboard as a "Temperature (avg.)" and "Temperature (max.)" variables.

I think that also Temperature (min.) variable is usefull to be displayed

When I go on a hike I'm interested which was the minimum temperature (during the night, when camping in the tent/hammock )

Ah I wrote "Temperature (avg.)" sorry. I had in my head also "Power (avg.)" that I just added, my bad.

So "Temperature (min.)" and "Temperature (max.)" will be added. Average value not.

Is this taken just from external sensor, or can it come from openweathermap forecast as well.

Simple answer: only connected sensor.

Anyway, you touched to a completely different idea I had in todo list when I was working on the new weather screen last year > display of the weather forecast for recorded tracks. Something what already exists here: https://help.locusmap.eu/topic/wheather-information-in-tracks .

I wasn't anyway sure how to do it easily and properly, so left it for now.

would be good to see the temperature in the web planner track summary to match the new app summary
