Track recording interrupts with screen off + weird map gaps

Hi,

I am using our great app for quite some years now. But with with my new phone / android version (Huawei Mate 9, Android 8) I encounter regular recording interuptions.

With screen off it won't record longer than 5-10 minutes before the app quits/crashes completely. After app restart it says that an unfinished recording was found. With screen on or if I check every few minutes, recording works fine.

If I just leave the app running in the background without recording, it doesn't quit ("L" symbol for running Locus as a service in notification bar stays there).

I already excluded Locus from automatic battery management.

2nd issue: See attached pic. While recording it draws an invisible line between start and current position where in between the map vanishes. Problem can't get solved by changing maps.

Could you please help me there?

Thanks

Michael

For issue nr 2, check your "track line style" under menu item "Points and tracks". "Close line and fill with color" should NOT be checked.

I have the same problem with my Huawei P8 Lite 2017 with the new Android 8. Should I make a Factory Data Reset or do you think the problem will be fixed soon? Thank you Nicola

Что за чушь? , хуавей убивает локус, если убивает значит так надо, чё програм, приложений больше нет? Буду пользоваться аналогами, удаляю ваш локус без всякого сожаления, с ума все посходили со своим локусом

Locus is not the only one killed by Huawei - all map apps have the same problems.
