Translation of OSM tags

An OSM POI (like a climbing spot) includes the corresponding tags. The tag itself is translated, so in german version I get:
Sport: Klettern
Leisure: Sports centre
Klettern is translated, but Sports centre is not!?
Is climbing the original tag in DB and Klettern is because of German language setting in Locus or is Klettern the tag in DB?
When it comes to searching, does it search for the german tag?

at this moment only the tag value is translated (if translation is available). Tak KEY is not translated.
